In 1999 life for my wife and I changed. The company she was working for was cutting its’ workforce by 20%. We knew there was a good chance she could be one of them so she started looking for a new job. After a hectic week of secret interviews at short notice a Swiss company made an enthusiastic offer, this was closely followed by further interviews and a competing offer from another department. We had a weeks holiday in Scotland and took some of the time to go through everything in detail. We returned home positive but still undecided, then she was made redundant. So decision made. That’s where this adventure began. |
