One of the greatest risks of a site like this is the risk of repeating observations a couple of months down the line. In this case I don't think I've said this before so here goes.

Well Class Todays' Subject is......Hotdogs!

Hotdogs in Switzerland are like every where else except for the Swiss twist. Here the Hotdog is served in a bun or half a baguette, but, and here's the twist, instead of slicing it to put the sausage in; a large metal spike in driven into one end creating a bore hole. The sausage is then inserted into this hole together with Ketchup and/or Mustard. Result no dribbles down clean clothes etc, neat huh?

You may have noticed I didn't mention anything of the onions. This is because the Swiss don't serve them with hotdogs. A shame in my opinion. Not only because I love fried onions with a hotdog, but also because I regard the smell of frying onions as one of the best adverts for hotdogs there are, as well as a culinary experience in their own right.

If you didn't know I was weird before, you do now.
