Well It did it. It snowed again and this time it got cold with it.
And when I say cold I mean COLD ! Minus 10 Celsius to be exact.
Now that would be a respectable night time temperature in the UK but in the
day things generally improve. Indeed it was so cold the local paper had pictures
of the fountains in Zurich frozen and reported a lowest temperature in Switzerland
of Minus 41.1 Degrees Celsius , that's COLD.
Of course all these things a relative. I study German at one of the local
language schools and a classmate of mine comes from Moscow. His complaint
is the weather here is too much like spring for his liking.
On the other hand the sunsets were fabulous so it's not a complaint, just the observation of a "soft" Northerner.
