The Itinery was as follows

Day 1 ; Acclimatize - She flew in late so a gentle day was in order this involved a walk locally and a visit to the near by Thermal baths.

Day 2 ; A round trip, Interlaken via Berne to change trains. Grindelwald , Kleine Sheidegg then back to Interlaken and on to Luzern via Meirringen then Zurich and home.

Day 3 ; Church then to Luzern and onto Pilatus, lunch on the top and then a mad toboggan ride down.

Day 4 ; Fribourg - a foray into the French speaking part of Switzerland. First experience of authentic Fondue

Day 5 ; Lugano via the San Gothard rail tunnel - a foray into the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. The Gelato was brilliant

Day 6 ; Zurich and flight home for our visitor at least.
