Child and lakeOne change since last month is that I am now driving, and it changes your perspective of the Swiss quite dramatically. To begin with Swiss drivers seem to have an incredible need to try and fit their car into your exhaust pipe. Heaven only knows why, it's not as though they want to drive faster than you. Indeed you can quite often come across a driver doing 10kph less than the speed limit no matter what the limit is. As the legal limit can get as low as 40kph (25mph) this can be quite frustrating in it self.

Then there's no predicting who will do this. Let me explain in the UK people with sporty cars generally drove faster than people with general purpose cars who generally drove faster than cars with the driver wearing a hat.(I don't' know why, it just is.) In Switzerland there is no predicting, you can find yourself following a Ferrari at 10 below as easily as find one trying to burn you off. And as far as I can tell Swiss drivers generally don't wear hats to drive in so no clues there either.
