Or the crazy experience of waiting for a plane at Geneva Airport.
We found last year the Easyjet had started to fly from Geneva to East Midlands Airport. This makes life simpler for us as it's only an hour from Lincoln by car. Added to this we had decided to buy G.A. passes from the Swiss Railways this year this means we can ride any Swiss public transport just by showing the pass. So for a comparable fare we could fly from Geneva using the Swiss Railways as to take us there at no additional cost and shorten the journey at the other end. The result was a two hour wait in Geneva Airport, so what is so crazy about the airport?
The P.A. system.
The P.A. system attracts your attention to every announcement by playing
a little musical tune.
"So what" I hear you say, "many places do this".
"Ah yes" I reply "but.....In this instance it's the first five
notes of How much is that doggy in the window?".
The urge to sing along is........terrible......irresistible.......almost.
I did succeed in avoiding making a fool of myself in public, although I did
get into trouble from my wife for going "woof woof" under my breath
once or twice at the appropriate time.
